Starshine: Pokemon Go for Science Education
Current Problem:
Historically, middle and high school students have learned science through lectures, textbooks, or controlled classroom experiments— but these methods don’t necessarily prepare students to thrive in the field.
The Solution:
Utilize popular technology to connect teenagers’ interests with their education. Learning and playing do not need to be mutually exclusive.
Mission Statement:
Starshine allows teenagers to explore, innovate, create, and learn science by playing an AR game.
